• So while anyone and their mothers seems to be able to become a reporter elsewhere, in China you will now have to go through a certification system that inlcudes "training in Marxist and communist theories of news." [AP]
• China already has 170 cities with more than 1 million people - if it continues to allow mass migrations from rural areas to urban centers, it will have 15 super-cities by 2025. [Financial Times]
