Personally, I think the "FML" meme (in which people write little vignettes about fail-worthy events in their day-to-day lives) was passe just about as soon as it began, but it seems that people more creative than I decided it could definitely be applied in some way to all our experiences in China. So now there's this website: Fmychinalife.com, which - like the site of its inspiration - allows users to post short rants about how something that happened in China sucks. It's like that old adage "TIC (This is China!)" come to the internet... only, unfortunately, nobody seems to have begun writing fake posts yet, so instead of wry observations it's all boring whining about China being cold, being dirty and those darn loud fireworks.
