Care for Children Special Needs School is looking for a qualified Special Needs teacher to take over a class of international students from 1 January 2009. Our children vary in ages from 7-13 with mild to severe learning difficulties. We are need of a dynamic teacher who will grow with the students and the school to create a loving and stable learning environment for them.

Applicants must have the following qualifications:

• SEN qualification
• 3-5 years experience within moderate to severe LDs and / or EYFS sector essential

Roles include:

• To plan, develop and deliver appropriate educational programmes which address and remediate the special educational needs of students at The Care for Children School.
• To provide an educational environment conducive to the learning of the children in line with the school's educational philosophy.
• To identify the needs of individual students, structuring their learning so that they progress at a rate which challenges them within a secure environment; to facilitate the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and reflective development of each child.
• To direct and manage the work of the teaching assistants within the classroom.
